What does a 1 year old care about the card, they’re normally more interested in the envelope! However, I love to see the smile on my mummy friends faces’ when they receive a handmade card specially made for their special little person. Here’s one today using the Stampin’ Up! Zoo Babies stamp set – perfect for new arrivals or baby birthdays.
Stamp set Zoo Babies comes with a range of cute animal images. Here I stamped a banner of 3 of them in a trio of colours – So Saffron, Marina Mist and Basic Black. When autocomplete results are available use up and down arrows to review and enter to select.

My second card uses the Gorgeous Grunge set and the cute little lion and sentiment from Zoo Babies. The Gorgeous Grunge 'splatter' was stamped in Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake and the lion was inked using markers in the same colours. This was punched with a Circle Punch and matted onto a Scallop Circle then fixed to the card with dimensionals. The panel was matted onto Crumb Cake cardstock and then onto a plain white card blank. Making handmade cards for little ones can be seen as a waste of time ….
